samedi 16 mai 2026/SourceFlashnews/1 min de lecture
The Mediterranean Architecture Centre (KAM) in Chania is hosting a lecture by Professor Amalia Kotsakis titled "Architectural and Visual Synergies: Kyriakos Krokos and Alekos Fassianos." The talk runs as a companion event to the ongoing exhibition "Alekos Fassianos and Karolos Kambelopoulos: A Meeting in Paris," currently on display at the Monastery of Karolos Museum. Fassianos is one of Greece's most celebrated modern painters, known for his distinctive figures drawn from ancient Greek iconography. The lecture explores the creative connections between his visual art and the architectural work of Kyriakos Krokos. Visitors interested in Greek art and architecture will find this a worthwhile cultural stop. KAM is located in the old town of Chania and is open to the public. Check the museum's website or local listings for exact lecture times and any admission requirements.
