Crete is forecast to experience warm, partly cloudy conditions on Monday, according to the Greek National Meteorological Service (EMY). Temperatures will reach up to 31 degrees Celsius, making for hot summer-like weather across the island. Skies will be mostly clear with intermittent periods of denser cloud cover. Winds will blow from the southeast at 3 to 5 Beaufort, with occasional gusts reaching 6 Beaufort. Visitors should stay hydrated and apply sunscreen even on cloudy spells, as UV levels remain high. Light clothing is recommended, though a layer may be useful if spending time near the coast in the afternoon breeze. Beach conditions should be generally pleasant, though the southeast winds may create light chop in exposed coastal areas. No severe weather warnings are currently in effect.
