The Port Authority of Chania has announced a scheduled military live-fire exercise at the "Karavia" firing range (designated zone LGD-76) on Friday, active from 07:00 to 10:00 UTC (10:00 to 13:00 local time). The exercise is being conducted for the benefit of the Hellenic Navy. The Karavia range is located in the sea area off the western Crete coastline near Chania. Boats, yachts, and watercraft should avoid the designated zone during these hours.
