Panagia Kardiotissa church at Amariano

At position Kardaki near the village Amariano there is the Byzantine church of the Panagia Kardiotissa , which is dedicated to the Birth of the Theotokos (8th September). The temple bears frescoes of the 13th or 14th century and is enclosed in a newer building, which unfortunately spoils its initial scenery.

Behind the temple there is the old well and there is a small fountain in front, while the bell comes from an old bomb.
