Mikis in the Magical World of Cinema

Organized by the Chania Film Festival, this workshop introduces schools to Mikis Theodorakis's world of cinema. Led by Elisabeth Veroli, the sessions explore the legendary composer's film music contributions, from the iconic "Zorba the Greek" to works with directors like Costa-Gavras and Jules Dassin. The workshop demonstrates how film music transcends accompaniment to become an autonomous narrative force. Sessions run October 22, 26–27, and 29–30 from 9:30–11:00 and 11:30–13:00 at Galatas.
