The Thread of Florentine at the Mikis Theodorakis Theater

A musical performance dedicated to Florentine Skouloudi-Kaloutsi, creator of the "Double Axe" workshop, will be presented on Friday, October 9 at 20:30 at the Mikis Theodorakis Theater. Admission is free, as part of the "Women" initiative by the Region of Crete. The tribute combines music, poetry, narration, and video, highlighting her contribution to Cretan textiles. The program features performances by Eleni Papaspyrou (piano), Stella Voutoufiannaki (narration and singing), Yiannis Polychronakis (contrabass), and Maria Papadaki (video art), alongside two new compositions by Yael Levy inspired by Kaloutsi's works.
