These interruptions are planned maintenance cuts, meaning electricity will be temporarily unavailable in affected neighborhoods for a portion of the day. Tourists staying in impacted areas may experience disruptions to air conditioning, phone charging, and hotel services. It is advisable to charge devices in advance, carry cash as card terminals may be offline, and check with your accommodation for the specific timing and duration of the outage in your area. Restaurants and shops in affected zones may also have limited service during the cut. The outages are temporary and power is expected to be restored the same day once maintenance work is completed.
