The Ministry of National Economy and Finance has announced that a new amendment will be introduced to the Parliament, making electronic rent payments mandatory from October 1st. As of October 1st, all rent payments must be made through a bank account.
This new regulation aims to increase transparency and reduce tax evasion in the rental market. Landlords and tenants are advised to prepare for the change and ensure they have the necessary banking arrangements in place.
