Vitsentzos Kornaros Festival Launches in Sitia, Crete 2026

Starting in 2026, the Vitsentzos Kornaros Cultural Center in Sitia, eastern Crete, is launching a new annual multithematic festival. Each edition will center on a different theme, with a focus on showcasing contemporary arts and culture. The festival is named after Vitsentzos Kornaros, the 17th-century Cretan poet and author of the Erotokritos, one of the most celebrated works in Greek literature.
