A new novel titled "Winds of the Lagoon" by Giannis A. Filis, former rector of the Technical University of Crete, will be presented on Monday, May 4, in Chania. The event takes place at the KAM hall inside the Megalo Arsenali, the historic Venetian arsenal building located along the old harbor waterfront. Published by Enastron in 2026, the book draws on themes connected to the Cretan landscape. The Megalo Arsenali is a well-known cultural venue in Chania's city center, easy to reach on foot from the old port area. Visitors interested in contemporary Greek literature or local culture are welcome to attend. The presentation is free to enter and offers a chance to experience a live literary event in one of Chania's most atmospheric historic spaces.
