Woman rescued by firefighters from Imbros Gorge in Crete

A 55-year-old woman had to be rescued by the fire brigade while hiking through Imbros Gorge, near Chania in western Crete. She felt unwell during the trek and was unable to continue on her own. Emergency services were called and carried out an operation to bring her out safely. Imbros Gorge is one of the most popular hiking trails in Crete, offering a scenic 8 km route through dramatic limestone cliffs.
