A recent satellite image taken by the American Terra satellite has captured the snowy mountains of Crete after a wave of bad weather hit the island. The image was taken at noon and shows the intense snowfall in the mountainous areas.
According to the National Observatory of Athens, improved weather conditions are expected to follow.
