Vlychadia beach, Chrissi

Approximately 500m west of the main harbor Chrissi island, approximately in the middle of the southern side of the island, a dirt road leads us to the beautiful Vlychadia beach. The beach has black and red chalk that comes from red lava, while the bottom is mainly rocky.

The surrounding vegetation is low and there is no natural shade. On the side of the beach there is an iconostasis (icon shrine).

It is a good choice for those who want to be isolated on the south side of the island, especially in the days when the north is wavy or crowded.
