Vagi beach at Kolokitha

Opposite the small island of Kolokytha in the Elounda area is the famous beach of Kolokytha , which, despite its very small size, attracts a very large crowd of people. Those who want to come to Kolokytha but want to be isolated can walk south, where there are two small bays of Vagi .

Vagi does not reach the beauty of Kolokytha in any case, while in some years it also collects a lot of seaweed. It has sand and a relatively rocky bottom, while there are enough tamarisks for shade.
