Society of Cretan Studies Launches Greeks of the Caucasus Series

The Society of Cretan Studies, in partnership with the Cultural Association of Alikianou and the Union of Cultural Organizations of the Kissamos Province, is hosting a lecture series titled "The Greeks of the Caucasus" as part of its Open University program. The series explores the history and identity of Greek communities that settled in the Caucasus region, offering insights into the broader Greek diaspora and cultural heritage. Lectures take place in western Crete, in the Alikianou and Kissamos areas, roughly 25 to 50 kilometers west of Chania.
