At this magnitude, no damage to buildings or infrastructure is expected, and there is no safety concern for visitors. Tourists staying in or planning to visit the Zakros area, including the famous Minoan palace site and Kato Zakros beach, can continue their plans as normal. No travel disruptions have been reported.
