A minor magnitude 2.5 earthquake occurred southeast of Crete on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 4:31 am local time (GMT +3). The tremor was recorded by seismic monitoring services including Volcano Discovery. At this low magnitude, earthquakes are rarely felt by people and cause no damage to buildings or infrastructure.
