Trikala traffic police conducted extensive breathalyzer testing on March 25th, setting up checkpoints around the central square. In an unusual operation, officers administered breathalyzer tests to police patrol crews as part of their enforcement activity.
Dozens of fines were issued following the checks, which featured a high volume of breathalyzer tests throughout the day. The enforcement operation was conducted by the Trikala Traffic Police during the National Holiday period.
