Minor Earthquake Hits Aegean Sea Near Crete

A light magnitude 3.2 earthquake occurred in the Aegean Sea, 84 km northwest of Irakleion, Heraklion Regional Unit, Crete, Greece, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 01:52 am (GMT +2).

The earthquake was reported by Volcano Discovery, but no damage or injuries have been reported so far. Crete residents are advised to remain calm and follow any instructions from local authorities.
