This annual gathering celebrates dance and cultural heritage, bringing together international folk dance groups for two evenings of live performances in one of Chania's most historic public spaces. The event is free to attend and open to the public, making it an excellent opportunity for visitors to experience traditional music and dance from Crete and beyond. Yiali Tzami Square is located in the old town area of Chania, easily accessible on foot from the Venetian Harbor. Arrive early to find a good spot, as these events typically draw large local crowds.
