Souda Bay Military Trail

A 4 km heritage walk along the shores of Souda Bay, the largest natural harbour in the Mediterranean, visiting the Commonwealth War Cemetery (WWII Battle of Crete graves) and views over the NATO naval base. The cemetery is beautifully maintained and deeply moving. Best all year. Carry water. Respectful attire appreciated at the cemetery.
