Psarotolakos Gorge

A wild, unmarked gorge of approximately 3.5 km in the Rethymno hinterland, suitable for experienced hikers comfortable with route-finding. The limestone canyon offers excellent solitude and striking geology. No marked path or facilities. Carry 1.5 litres of water minimum. Best in spring. Data being verified — check locally before hiking.
