Paleokastro to Stravomyti Trail

A 6 km mountain trail in the White Mountains foothills near Paleochora in southwest Crete, passing through olive groves and traditional stone-walled terraces. Partially marked. Carry 1.5 litres of water. Best October to May — summer is very hot at lower elevations. Parking available in Paleochora village. Data partially verified — check locally.
