Ha Gorge

A short but striking gorge 20 km north of Ierapetra in eastern Crete, with near-vertical walls rising 200m. The 1.5 km route is mostly flat, following a seasonal stream through the canyon. Best visited in spring when there is water. No entrance fee, free parking at the gorge entrance. Walking shoes are fine. The gorge ends at a natural amphitheatre — turn back from there.
