Gramvoussa Fortress Hike

A short but steep 2 km climb to the Venetian fortress on Gramvoussa island, accessible by seasonal ferry from Kissamos. The fortress sits at 137m with panoramic views over the Balos lagoon and the Cretan Sea. Rocky path with loose stones — wear shoes with grip. Carry 1 litre of water. Best May to October. The ferry trip is part of the experience.
