Tourism Festival Celebration
On September 27, 2026, the annual Rethymno Tourism Festival will be held at the Municipal Garden on World Tourism Day. Repeated visitors will receive "Friendship Awards," with each honoured guest planting a tree in the garden. The awards ceremony for the "Rethymno Unfiltered" photography competition, organized by the Rethymno Hoteliers Association, will also take place. This competition celebrates personal perspectives of Rethymno through visitors' eyes—capturing streets, landscapes, tastes, and everyday moments.
