About the Performance
A contemporary musical-theatrical performance inspired by Cretan rizi songs. Created by the Scarmi group and Antivaro Theater as part of the Crete Festival "Women/Women", the performance explores rizi songs as a living field of recomposition and artistic experimentation. Through language, body, live music and soundscapes, it examines themes of memory, identity, violence, gender discrimination, desire and collective experience, repositioning tradition within a contemporary social and political horizon. The 50-minute performance features live music and innovative staging.
