Lecture on Chinese Philosophy

The Philosophy Department of the University of Crete invites students and interested individuals to a lecture by Dimitra Amarantidou on Chinese Philosophy: What, How and Why. The lecture explores the fundamentals of Chinese philosophy, its historical development, and connection to Chinese culture. Through the Three Teachings—Confucianism, Daoism, and Chan Buddhism—it examines different approaches to life's problems and human existence, investigating how these traditions competed, coexisted, and mutually influenced one another throughout Chinese history.
