1st Sculpture Symposium of Chania Municipality
The 1st Sculpture Symposium of the Municipality of Chania is underway. Seven sculptors are creating artworks that will be displayed throughout the city. Construction work began in the plaza of the Park of Peace and Friendship of Peoples and is scheduled for completion on October 14, 2026. Participating artists include Manolis Tzompanakis, Chris Gianako, Theodore Papagiannidis, Yiannis Parmakeles, Kyriakos Rokos, and Giorgos Houliards. The event is dedicated to the memory of Aspasia Papadoperaki.
