A pan-Hellenic premiere of the musical work "Myths of Crete" by composer Dimitri Maramis takes place on Friday at 9 p.m. at the Kazantzakis Open-Air Theatre in the Venetian Walls, Heraklion. The work, commissioned by the Crete Region, connects Minoan mythology with Cretan Renaissance poetry, focusing on four mythological female figures: Europa, Pasiphae, Ariadne, and Phaedra.
