A new philosophy has been introduced in the Greek traffic code, where not only the initial offense is punished, but also the repetition of the offense. Repeat offenders can face fines of up to 12,000 euros and long-term license suspension. The more frequent the dangerous behavior, the heavier the penalty, both in terms of money and license revocation.
