Officials from the Lasithi regional administration met to review progress on the Krousta Dam project in eastern Crete. The working session examined current study data, addressed technical issues related to the project's development phase, and outlined the next steps forward. The Krousta Dam is a planned water infrastructure project intended to improve water management and supply in the Lasithi region. No construction timeline was announced. The meeting focused on technical planning rather than any immediate works. Tourists visiting the Lasithi area, which includes destinations such as Agios Nikolaos and the Lasithi Plateau, are not affected by this development at present. The project remains in its study and planning phase.
