Tourists planning beach days can expect comfortable conditions throughout the island, with calmer waters typically found on the southern coast and more wind-exposed beaches on the north and west. Visitors should check local wind forecasts before heading to open-coast beaches like Phalasarna, where strong summer winds can create choppier conditions.
