The municipality is carrying out essential maintenance to the road infrastructure and asks for residents' and visitors' patience during this period. Expect possible traffic disruption and lane closures in that area on Saturday and Sunday. If you are travelling through central Heraklion this weekend, plan additional time or use alternative routes. The works are temporary and the area will return to normal once completed.
