A dance performance exploring human evolution through movement. "Amphibia" traces the journey from primordial forms to modern humans, centered on a ballet dancer discovering this evolutionary path. The work blends scientific narrative with choreography, connecting fish fins, tetrapod limbs, and human feet through classical technique, questioning the drive for perfection and transcendence.
Performed July 6-7, 2026 at 7:15 PM at the Ancient Aptera archaeological site. Supported by Chania Municipality and the Ministry of Culture's "Whole Greece, One Culture" program. Free admission; registration required.
