Crete fire kills 2, injures 1; no longer spreading

A fire broke out at midday in low vegetation near Derveni, in the Liti area of Crete. The blaze resulted in two fatalities and one person injured. As of the latest update from the Fire Service, the fire has no active front and is no longer spreading.
