Ler a história
A Venetian Tower was built at Stamni village, with two floors and embrasures on the second floor. It is in very good condition and is used as a residence.
Probably it was private and belonged to a feudal lord of the region, as this is evidenced by the fact that there are winepresses in the courtyard. On some documents, we know the names of some Venetian families who were related to Stamni ( Burgugroni , Galbo , etc.), but its unsure to whom the building belonged.
The Ottomans should have used the tower, as seen by some repairing works on it.
