Skotini Waterfall at Fodele

The wider area of Fodele hosts several small and high waterfalls. The most easily accessible of them is the waterfall of Skotini , located very close to the Byzantine temple of Panagia (Virgin Mary) in Fodele and the Museum of El Greco .

This waterfall is located at position Skotini (meaning dark ) right on the road connecting Fodele to the temple and the museum, on the left hand. Access above the waterfall is also very easy, as there is another paved road leading to Fodele coming next to its upper part.

The fall of Skotini has a height of 15 meters and has water after several rainy days. Although it is next to the main road, it is well hidden in the vegetation and the colorful rocks.

To admire its beauty, one should climb a few rocks and reach the pong forming below it..
