Panagia Korasani monastery

At position Megalo Korasi , north of the Dories village, we meet the small renovated church of Panagia Korasani , which previously served as a small monastery. The chapel is dedicated to the Presentation of Virgin Mary (Panagia) and celebrates on November 21.

Around, there are ruins of monk cells and cisterns. The foundation of the monastery dates back from the Venetian era, as it is mentioned in a document of 1621.
