Ler a história
Through the gorge of Lissos or Skevroto passes the trail that connects Sougia to ancient Lissos . It's a long canyon with imposing towering walls, but the path that leads to Lissos covers only a small part of the route, taking only about 1 hour.
At the exit of the path from the side of Lissos we meet ancient Lissos with the temple of Asclepius with floor mosaic, scattered ruins of the ancient city, tombs , the Roman theater and the churches of Panagia and St. Kirikos , which was built on the site of an early Christian church.
One can return to Sougia either by boat from the beautiful beach of Lissos , or by walking back the same trail.
