Limni Lake near Elos

At the entrance to the village Limni in the province of Kissamos , near Elos , we meet a small beautiful pond from which the village takes its name ( limni is lake in Greek). Paths with large wooden platforms have been formed around it, making the place ideal for relaxation.

This small wetland of about 0.5 hectares has water throughout the year. It has an almost perfectly circular shape and is surrounded by huge plane trees.

Goldfish, frogs and ducks live in the water.
