The Museum of Visual Arts in Heraklion is a private art museum located at Poros, above the port of Heraklion . It was founded in May 2000 by the architect Kostas Schizakis .
Its activities include organizing educational seminars and lectures on artistic creation. It houses a permanent exhibition of artworks, mostly by artists of Crete.
