Back to newsThe cruise ship Marella Voyager is docked today at the port of Souda Bay, near Chania, on the northwestern coast of Crete. Souda Bay is one of the largest natural harbors in the Mediterranean and serves as a key arrival point for cruise passengers visiting the Chania region. The vessel is scheduled to depart at 4:00 PM. Tourists in the Chania area, particularly those near the port road or the city center, may notice increased foot traffic and busier conditions at popular attractions, tavernas, and shops during the morning and early afternoon as cruise passengers explore the area. Visitors planning to drive toward Souda or park near the Chania waterfront should allow extra time. The port of Souda is approximately 7 kilometers east of Chania's Venetian harbor.
