Greek Navy to Conduct Mine-Hunting Exercises Off Chania

The Greek Navy will conduct mine-hunting exercises in the sea area north of Chania from June 18 to June 23, daily between 11:30 and 18:00. A maritime exclusion zone will be enforced in this area during those hours. Visitors planning boat trips, water activities, or sea excursions departing from Chania's northern coastline should check with local operators before booking, as access to the affected zone may be restricted. Activities outside the designated area are not affected. The exercises are routine military training and pose no danger to the general public on land or in adjacent waters.
