The Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Chania has announced a planned water supply interruption in the Vamvakopoulo area of Chania on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 09:00 to 15:00. The six-hour outage will affect residents and visitors in that neighborhood. If you are staying in or near Vamvakopoulo, plan ahead by filling water bottles and containers before 9:00 AM. Hotels and accommodations in the affected area should be aware of the disruption and may make alternative arrangements for guests. The water supply is expected to return to normal after 15:00.
