Tourists visiting these areas should avoid lighting fires, barbecues, or discarding cigarettes outdoors. Do not park vehicles on dry grass, and stay on marked trails when hiking. If you spot smoke or flames, call the fire service immediately at 199. Avoid forested and rural areas during peak afternoon heat. Check local announcements before planning excursions into the countryside, and follow instructions from local authorities if evacuations are ordered in your area.
