Back to newsAn F-35 flight simulator will be set up in Liberty Square (Plateia Eleftherias) in Heraklion on Saturday, June 13. The installation follows strong public interest from a previous visit, which drew large numbers of schoolchildren and general visitors. The simulator offers a hands-on experience of flying one of the world's most advanced fighter jets, giving participants a realistic cockpit environment without leaving the ground. The event is free and open to the public in one of Heraklion's most central and accessible squares, located near the Archaeological Museum and the city's main waterfront. If you are in Heraklion this weekend, the square is easy to reach on foot from the old town or the port. Arrive early as queues are expected given the popularity of the previous session.
