The 12th Cretan Food Festival returns to the Municipal Garden in Rethymno from July 3-7, 2026. Featuring 35 local producers of olive oil, cheese, honey, and traditional crafts, this celebration showcases the best of Cretan gastronomy. Open daily 7:15 PM to 11 PM, visitors enjoy exhibitions, tastings, and cultural performances. The festival celebrates Crete's designation as European Gastronomic Region 2026. Entry is free July 3 and 7; €7 other days (children under 12 always free).
