Back to newsThe 11th edition of "Art on the Road" (Τέχνη Καθ' Οδόν), a traveling arts festival organized by the Municipality of Heraklion, is continuing its successful run across the region. On Saturday, June 21, events are scheduled in three locations: Agios Giannis Chostos, Fortetsa, and Venerato. The festival brings live cultural performances directly into local neighborhoods and villages, making it accessible beyond the city center. Visitors staying in or around Heraklion have a rare opportunity to experience authentic community arts events alongside locals. All events are free and open to the public. Check the Heraklion Municipality website or local listings for the full program and exact performance times at each venue.
