Leggi la storia

Listis is located 69km southeast of Iraklion , between Kastri (2km to the west) and Tsoutsouras . The part of the beach west of Listis to the river Anapodaris is called Kamboula .

The river is one of the most important Cretan wetlands. The long beach Kamboula is very beautiful, with lovely pebbles and crystal blue waters.

This area is no organized, however a very few rooms and apartments have been built in the last years. It is a fantastic choice for those who want to stay remote or even nude.

The wider area is dry and warm, despite the fact that Anapodaris has water almost all year round. In some parts of the beach there are small tamarisk trees, where you can find shade.

Access to the beach is very easy, because the road that connects Kastri and Tsoutsouras runs aside.
